I have known James since he played football with my son for the Palmetto Optimists and later at Southridge High School where they both played varsity football, graduating in 1985.
James has been working on my Honda and Ford for the last six years, first when he was lead mechanic for another company and now as the owner Cutler Auto Repair.
The only time one of my cars was not fixed correctly related to an air-conditioning leak and a defective part. James replaced it, recharged the system and explained that there was no charge because it was under warranty.

Cutler Auto Repair was an answer to prayers. When my daughter's car
required $3,800 of repairs for a broken timing belt and "supposedly
engine damage", James came in and saved the day. I found James while
cruising the internet late one night when all hope was gone and ran
across the testimonials on his website. I live in Dallas Texas and
needed a mechanic in Miami where my daughter goes to college. I found
James to be honest, caring, and thorough. We went from $3,800 to $470
because he is an honest mechanic. Finding James was divine
intervention, his shop is also 2 miles from where my daughter goes to
church. His shop was not out of the way but just where God wanted him
to be, for us. James was a huge blessing and I understand why folks
come from all over the country to utilize his services.

"Will it catch on fire going down the turnpike on the way home?" I asked my mechanic about my Jetta. He said he couldn't guarantee anything. This day and age you need your car, especially with hauling kids around and getting to work its a vital life line in your everyday life. I know every case is different, but I would definitely recommend James and the guys at Cutler Auto Repair to anyone!

I brought my vehicle in for James to take a look; after having received an immediate phone call from having left a message via his website. I was pleased to meet a gentleman who was very forthright about what the problem could be. James had his staff member immediately identify and rectify the problem. After having driven off very happy, I noticed a noise coming from the area that had just been replaced. I brought it right back and discovered that the newly replaced part did not coincide with the old part. To my shock, James replaced the part at NO COST to me! The part was replaced and it's been smooth sailing ever since. I discovered that James is an individual who performs numerous altruistic acts for the community.
